It's definitely a poetic and penetrating cinematic observation of how people struggle to connect with one another in an isolating and contemporary world.
In many ways, it is a story of everybody really. We all want something and/or someone, but when something/someone happens to us - it scares us and throws us off, leading us to do the opposite of what we really want.
