Saw this film at the Toronto Int'l Film Festival. The director, Zac Effron, and Clare Danes were present. It starts a bit slow and I'm not sure if all the dialogue is true to the late 1930s but the cast is quite good.
A fairly conventional film by the usually more experimental Richard Linklater, but it does come together well in the end.
