Review of Me and Orson Welles (2008) by Claire M — 13 Dec 2009
Firstly, I didn't see this for Zac Efron, unlike most of the other people in the screen (yes, they were female), and a good thing too, because while he may have female appeal (so I'm told) he looked out of his depth here and that wasn't even when actually reciting Shakespeare.
The rest of the cast, however, made up for it. Claire Danes was gorgeous as ever and Christian McKay was excellent and Orson Welles with all his mood swings and manipulations.
Worth a watch, not at cinema prices but as a hire and certainly if on TV.
