As someone who has spent half a year with a young friend with terminal cancer, this movie brought up some feelings of the past. It feels more honest than a lot of people would like. Not everyone says the right thing or does the right thing- just in real life.
It is a tender sad movie that has more truth than fiction, and the fiction helps the story along in such a painful topic. It is a wonderfully indie idea taking on the real elements of friending someone with cancer and having no idea of what to do.
