Review of Me and Earl and the Dying Girl (2015) by Ron A — 09 Jul 2015
Quirky, yet powerful. First rate performances by all the actors. I was interested after reading audience reviews, and seeing Olivia Cooke (Bates Motel) and Connie Britton on the bill. Stellar performances by newcomers (to me at least) RJ Cyler and Thomas Mann.
Many laughs in the filmmaking antics of Greg and Earl, and angst in Greg's self-doubting insecure persona. Definitely recommend this for audiences of all ages (except children). Virtually no sex, very little profanity.
