Review of Me and Earl and the Dying Girl (2015) by Elizabeth L — 10 Jul 2015
I'm not one to see the "Art House" or "Sundance" type movies but my teenaged son asked if we would see this film with him. If you are a parent of a teenaged child, you'll find several scenes that cut very close to the bone both in a humorous and wistful way.
The story is beautifully written, artfully filmed with unusual shots that change the perspective of the audience to match that of the characters in a clever way, and extremely well acted by all players.
Do bring tissues, you won't leave the theater unscathed.
