Review of Me and Earl and the Dying Girl (2015) by Tristan T — 17 Aug 2015
A film that floats the line between "500 Day of Summer" and "The Fault in Our Stars", I feel that "Me, Earl, and the Dying Girl" has solidified itself as a masterpiece with a heartfelt message.
The vernacular utilized, in addition to well-placed eloquence, provide a realistic and yet captivating dialogue that carries this story from the screen to the viewer's heartstrings. Although not altogether unique in its setting, the movie is so artistically delivered that it stands apart from the many teen love dramas that have flooded the screen as of late.
Take the time, take some tissues, and take a friend to watch this movie. Love it.
