Review of Me and Earl and the Dying Girl (2015) by Edmund P — 17 Sep 2015
God it's flawed in places and feels very much like Wes Anderson doing a John Green book on the surface. However, I couldn't help but fall in love with the performances, the direction, and the balanced between being understated and brutally honest.
I could relate to a lot about this movie and while I doubt it'll be on my top list of the year, I can say one thing: Fault in Our Stars, eat your heart out.
