Because the fault in our stars film was made, this film also had to be made. you know, to show that john green isnt the only ya author out there. and that "THIS is a REAL story about teens and cancer".
Truly, this was way way way better than TFioS.
BUT.
It still left me unsatisfied. like there were scenes that you know that were trying to tug at your emotions, but you see I knew it was trying so hard to tug at my emotions, that it didnt quite succeed. The ending left me angry but not bereft (and I think the goal there was bereft).
Anyway, the point is, its better than TFioS. Watch it!
