Review of Me and Earl and the Dying Girl (2015) by Dan H — 22 Nov 2015
Starts out as very annoying with in-your-face cinematography and a grating script, that said I slowly warmed to it. It's fantastically cast and the acting is tops from everyone. Unlike Fault In Our Stars, this felt real and is very sad but never aggressively so.
It is very dorky at some points, but that kind of adds to its charm. This is a beautiful film, and I could definitely relate to a lot of things in it. I loved it.
