Review of Me and Earl and the Dying Girl (2015) by Ken S — 21 Oct 2015
A Sundance creation, Me and Earl and the Dying Girl is a touching story about friendship and the creativity an adolescent mind can have. Greg, a teenager, is forced by his mother to hang out with terminally ill Rachel, and what follows is memorable.
What MAEATDG does best is maintain the fine line of sensitivity and sympathy while including a healthy dose of humor. In a summer full of action-packed thrills, it's nice to see sincere tales still exist.
