Review of McQ (1974) by Robert D — 07 Mar 2010
As was the case with many if not most of his films, John Wayne MAKES this movie. But, beyond the Duke, striking location scenery of a pre-Kingdome downtown Seattle add a gritty realism. Not to be over looked is the FANTASTIC musical score by Elmer Bernstein that lends so much atmosphere.
(I have added the soudtrack CD to my library).
