Review of McFarland, USA (2015) by Anthony B — 23 Feb 2015
More than a lot of sports movies it effectively shows the hard work and dedication needed to win on a high level in high school sports realistically. It becomes cliche near the end, and included a lot of unnecessary scenes involving Costner and his family - which because of the scenes involving his human side with his team, are not needed - but it still leaves an impression once it's over.
