Review of McCabe & Mrs. Miller (1971) by Darin Z — 18 Nov 2007
I was blown away by this movie which I haven't seen in about 20 years. It really transports you to a very specific place and time in a very realistic way. The acting is terrific too; Julie Christie received a deserved Oscar nom but Keith Carradine is also very moving - the bridge scene is unforgettable.
Warren Beatty had great taste in selecting his material.
