Review of McCabe & Mrs. Miller (1971) by Evan K — 17 May 2008
The hard to remember title probably is the biggest prevention of this being Altman's most talked aobut film. The cinematography and intenisty are far greater than his other pieces and the realism is ridiculously well done for a time piece.
I would have to say this exceeds my rpevious conception of Altman, damn if I won't deconstruct him. Music too much at times and I have to go...
