Review of Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials (2015) by Tyler S — 19 Oct 2015

Slightly better than the first one, some amped up action fuels the fire for this action packed flick. It leads off right where the first one ended, and really waste no time getting to the point. The movie does a good job keeping you engaged, and the lead acting is quite good.

A lot of characters are introduced throughout the movie, but they don't truly seem connected, or to fit the puzzle in a believable way. The movie kept introducing new characters, while important, it wasn't believable.

I did like the action from this movie, and thought there were some really effective scenes. The story is decent ( I have not read the books) but I was left wanting a little more than the action. The narrative could of been a tad bit better and cliches could of been avoided.
