Poor, pale imitation of other YA flicks, populated with beige and only surface-level attractive talking faces who serve only one real purpose: exposition. Danger or threat isn't sustained and the plot is simply too flimsy and uninspired for anyone to care about anything that happens within this vacuous and dreary flop.
Can't wait for number three!
