Review of Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials (2015) by Amelia C — 26 Dec 2015

I watched this movie for the first time before reading the book. (I was currently finishing the 1st book).

Once I started the 2nd book I immediately realized that this movie was actually quite disappointing in comparison.The book is immediately 10 times better than the movie version, beginning with Chapter 1. I have no idea why they thought scrapping so many amazing things from the book would make this a better movie. This movie could have been incredible if it stuck with even a touch more of the source material, which is such a shame. By itself, it's a good movie. Once you read the book though, you'll be very disappointed in this result.
