Review of Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials (2015) by Maria M — 29 Jul 2016
The first movie (Maze Runner) seems more intense although Scorch Trials is a needed development. They can't be in the maze forever.
In this sequel, the gang first come in contact with victims of The Flare, which is no less than the usual zombie. And when one of the boys contracted the disease and pulled the trigger on himself from afar, that scene is very cinematic and moving when the rest of the group stopped in a file. Too bad I can't find an image online. That vast desert with the Golden Gate bridge from far (or remnants of it) also reminded me of I, Robot.
