It seems today's teen post-apocalyptic films end up the same way. We've got your typical young cast that falls short on delivering emotionally energized performances. We have a story that would be interesting if its first act didn't skip development for the sake of jumping into its quick pacing.

It is occasionally thrilling and sparingly careful with its subject matter but it doesn't really live up to being the journey it wants you to invest in.
