Review of Maze Runner: The Death Cure (2018) by Diego Andrés Q — 28 Jan 2018
As someone who hasn't read the books, I was very excited to see how this would end. With plenty of action and some emotional deaths (let's face it, there are always deaths in the last film of a series), "The Death Cure" takes you on a wild ride.
I absolutely loved the opening scene. By the end of it, I was bracing for even more craziness. The ending is somewhat open-ended, at least in my opinion and I'm not sure if that's how the book ends.
But it definitely satisfies the audience by giving a action-packed conclusion. My only complaint is that while the last hour is tight, action packed and fast paced, the first 90 minutes seems like it drags on forever.
Hence the 4 star rating. If you liked the first two installments at all, you will most likely enjoy the third and final chapter in the Maze Runner trilogy.
