Review of Maze Runner: The Death Cure (2018) by Shiraz S — 07 Apr 2018
I rate based on the perspective of the target audience (millenial). I'd rather see real guns, but the protagonists used taser guns while ants used bullets. But at the beginning the protagonists had hand guns vs machine guns.
The outgunned underdog who is eventually victorious is standard for for the genre and audience, so I dont criticise, this was an extreme case tho. It was nice to see littlefinger live up his double crossing standard.
It was very easy to predict what was going to happen at every turn, but I assume teens were wowed by the twists. Just realized I missed part 2, oh well, won't bother now. So anyway, young people died in this.
I just came from reviewing "Game Over, Man!", Was great but got crap reviews because a dog blew up, it's extreme alt comedy it's a genre that you must have a palate for to enjoy it, like this movie is a teen movie for teens, so let teens review, or review from their perspective.
My kids love teen Titans go, but I like it too, bad example. people shat on the movie with half star ratings, because of the Lil rat dog. others did the same for a different reason, because the pompous critics gave it 10%, and people think they should do the same even if they enjoyed it.
