Review of Maze Runner: The Death Cure (2018) by Dan M — 15 May 2018
This franchise seemed to take a huge downfall since the first one. Granted I wasn't a huge fan of it, but it seemed like a neat concept. The sequel was just outright horrible, so what were the chances this one would be any better? Slim to none.
Might as well have just called this Maze Runner: Saving Private Minho, since that's basically what 90% of the plot here was. And it dragged like a motherfucker too. No reason this should have been almost two and a half hours.
I became so uninterested I ended up playing Angry Birds halfway in. Only way this would have been good is if at the end Thomas woke up after the end of the first movie and said "whoa guys... let's just stop here alright?".
