Review of May (2008) by David M — 09 Jul 2008
May, as a film, is a little bit cute, a little bit creepy, but mostly boring. The first hour is devoted to exploring the title character's confused existence. Empathizing with her is easy, but the events drag slowly and awkwardly.
The final half-hour is far more interesting and genuinely exciting (if creepy), but all the likable traits of our protagonist May are lost.
