Review of May (2008) by Moe R — 06 Oct 2011
May focuses on a girl who has never really lived a proper life, and hardly a social life as well. Her only friend, from when she was young, was a doll.
She decides to try and make some new friends, but they all think she's strange. Why? You'll find out more in the film, but you can tell from nearly the beginning she starts to become weird. At the same time, you feel sympathy, because of how she was raised, and brought up. It's kind of sad.
However, most people seem to find, or, think May is some kind of heroine because she gets her "revenge" on people that ignored or betrayed her.
All the acting around was brilliant, but I thought the ending should've been a bit longer and a bit different.
I would've rated it 4 1/2 stars if everything was just about perfect.
