A disturbing,shocking, and somewhat moving portrayal of a girl trying to "create" her own perfect friend. Bettis seems to completely embody May's fragile, creepy, and often sad longing for the ultimate buddy.
The last couple of minutes are both spine-tingling and oddly heart-wrenching.
