Wow, ok... truly an original film in a bizarre kind of way. Hard to watch at times. Angela Bettis gives an intense, but subtle performance. May is really not your average girl... kind of made me think of "Carrie" in that way (the theme of a girl's "blossoming" sexuality) , though May's issues and the way she deals with them are ALL her own! Disturbing and a bit surreal.
Do yourself a favor - DO NOT read the plot summary here on Flixster before you watch it - it gives too much away!
