"Maximum Risk" had a couple of moments which were pretty entertaining, but overall it's just a movie that I've seen a million times, with Van Damme doing the same stuff he always does.

Why does Van Damme like to be a twin so much? Basically he plays a french cop who learns that he had a brother in the Russian mob who wanted out, but his brother was killed. He goes to America to find out what happened, and he get's involved in chaos. That's basically your plot, and theres nothing really awesome about it. It's predictable, sometimes boring, and really what you would expect.

The acting obviously sucks. A lot of the lines are really over the top, and the Russian accents in this movie really do suck beyond belief. The sex scene that Van Damme and that chick have in the bathroom is pretty stupid as well. So much of this movie is really just what you would predict to happen, and it really sucks to see movies like that.

Something that I actually liked about this movie was the fighting. I thought that the fight scenes were filmed pretty well, and it kept me entertained, so that's good. That's what this movie is all about, so that's a good thing I guess.

I've probably reviewed this movie countless times, but they just had different titles. It's another Van Damme action movie. It was predictable and cheesy. It had some good action, but with the atrocious acting, and annoying execution, this movie falls short of anything good.
