I thought the acting was actually pretty good and the storyline kept my interest; but... the special effects were definitely low budget. Not to mention, someone in production needs a better education in size reference and ratios.
Max's wings kept changing in size from scene to scene. And, they were never really big enough to be of any use to a human meant to fly.
