Review of Maximum Overdrive (1986) by Phillip M — 19 Feb 2008
On one hand, I'm sad to say this movie lived up to it's reputation of being BAD. It really is terrible. However, thanks to the abundance of crazy deaths, ridiculous acting and effects (tongue-in-cheek), loads of humor, and a BIG THANKS to Emilio, it manages to be one of those "so bad it's GOOD" kind of movies.
And I think that was the intention here.
