Review of Maximum Overdrive (1986) by Jeff — 09 May 2008
"Maximum Overdrive", a very great and bloody movie from 1986, based on his short story "Trucks". A comet called Rhea-M, passing by Earth and while the Earth is in the comet's tail, machinces go on a homicidal rampage.
A group of people trapped at the Dixie Boy Truck Stop, trying to find a way to escape. A very cool film with a little humor in it, especially when the ATM machine calls Stephen King's character an asshole.
Great soundtrack by AC/DC, one of the greatest rock bands ever. Emilio Estevez, Pat Hingle, Laura Harrington are really great in this film.
