You've got Stephen King at the helm, writing and directing, and you've got AC/DC composing the music. Is it funny? Yes. Intentionally so? Sometimes. All the characters are stupid and the situations that they find themselves in easily avoidable.
If machines are gonna go berserk then have all of them go berserk and not just ones that come in handy at the moment.
