Review of Max Steel (2016) by Jack W — 13 Oct 2016
I just got back from Max Steel at my local AMC Theaters, and I was disappointed by it. It's an action flick that talks about a 16-year old that has scientific energy powers that he gained through the DNA of his long gone Dad. Long story short, he gets himself into a heap of trouble (as expected).
Overall, it's a below average movie with a mix of effects and boring storyline and dialogue, I was surprised that Michael Bay didn't do it. If you were a fan of all the versions of the TV show, you will be disappointed the most, though it does follow the basic storyline, it lacks a lot of the qualities the show has. Your time is better spent at The Accountant or Miss Peregrine.
