Review of Max Steel (2016) by Ian B — 14 Apr 2017
It started strong. Good cast with terrific acting. Cinematography was good and contained a decent amount of aspect to aspect shots. Then the pacing falls apart and it becomes predictable. Questions are asked and solved in the same scene stopping almost all suspense and the final fight was ofcourse cliche and contained the usual ex machina of doing something that's crazy and works but should have been seen coming by the villain miles away.
It was however a fun film with decent effects and a feel good ending.
