Review of Max Payne (2008) by Dan G — 21 Feb 2010

This is what you call a film that was completely built up from it's trailers, but didn't hold up in theaters. I had such high hopes before this film came out, I even waited a few months until after it was released to actually watch it.

I believe I should of held out a little longer or just stayed with only the trailers in mind. Max Payne was such a disgrace that when the end finally came hinting on a sequel, I didn't much care for it anymore.

Yes, the cinematography was eye-popping, but with a bland storyline that seemed to drag forward with a ball and chain attached, it was not enough to save Max Payne from being a flop.
