Review of Max Payne (2008) by Dodds D — 28 Dec 2013

This has to be one of the worse movies I have watched in a long time. I knew reading the reviews before seeing it that it was suppose to be bad, but Hitman (another movie based on a video game) got really bad reviews and I liked it a lot.

I am not normally bothered by movies that have some unrealistic parts to it but this one was WAY over the top. There is a part where Max somehow knows that a guy has come up behind him, and he does a back flip type thing.

Pumps his SHOTGUN only one time and proceeds to shot it 3 times. I don't know much about guns, but I do know that most shot guns need to be cocked between rounds. While he is doing this a sniper try's to shoot at him and misses by like 5 ft while looking through his sniper scope.

There are many other such parts where he out runs 50 shooters with a handgun. Being a photographer I always notice lighting and it drove me absolutely crazy when he walked down alleys, because his shadow some how ended up on both sides of the alley.

This movie was a total waste of time.
