Wow what a low rating for this movie.... I am going to disagree with the tomato meter. The normal response I receive from when this movie is brought up is this is boring.

Now if you do not know me (that might be for the better) I do not care if a movie is "boring" lets be honest unless this simply paint drying on the wall (I miss typed and wrote paint growing on the wall that would be kool... soooooo yea that is the lesson of the day.... if you see paint growing on the wall send me a message?). Only in that case you have permission to call it boring (w8 nvm some of them sports movies are under my criteria of boring...).

I do like telling stories of my life while writing but for this one I really do not have one but if I think of one while writing you sure as hell know I will tell in a "boring" fashion.

When you saw I trailer for the movie what lured you in if you saw it. For me I did not have the argue to see it soo it did not see it at first and then one day I was just kinda screwing around on RT and I clicked Mark Wahlberg and was scrolling through his page. Then I saw Max Payne..... a couple of seconds later I said "Oh yea I remember the trailers for that one." and as you would know it was playing on HBO that night all of the stars aliened for me to watch this (yes I know it is planets but I used the saying in Scott Pilgrim vs the World review. YEA I hope a terrible was to us Scott Pilgrim in my review for Max Payne). Sooooooooooo yea after that tangent I watched it then and there.

1 hour and 40 minutes later I was like ummmm ok. That was fine I guess. The only way to compare that to a scene in a movie would be in Ed Wood at the end of the movie after the screening of Plan 9 from Outter Space (I am unstoppable today dropping an ED Wood reference)and when the Ed Wood and his soon to be wife leave the crowd behind them kinda just has their heads down and walk like I paid money for that unknowing what I have just witnessed.

I remember I walked upstairs and just did not think of the movie much after that. This was like last winter. Now every once in a while that topic might come up Max Payne (99 times out of 100 it is me) and I defend the movie sorta not giving it praise but not making fun of it (these conversions did not go anywhere soooo yea Troll Face)( New meme: Start conversation on a movie no one has scene. This is some good brain storming).

That is pretty much my reaction to the movie it is good enough but I do not suggest it. Mark W. is pretty good and that is the main buff of the movie. The major debuff is well yea nothing really happens nothing ground breaking and deep I enjoy some of the action scattered throughout the film. The movie is most certainly underrated but does not deserves any praise just one of those movies that comes and goes with mix reviews not so lopsided.

Final Verdict: I am not thrilled because I how short this review is.... Oh well 65% out of 100% it is ok I just don't suggest it...
