I saw the negative reviews and went into watching this film thinking it was worse than it turned out. The colors and atmosphere are genuine to the game, but still somewhat believable in a surrealistic noir way.
The dialog is intentionally over-the-top and the violence makes no apologies. I never played the game, but the movie wasn't half bad.
