Review of Max (2016) by Christopher R — 06 Jul 2015
About what I expected, it had its moments and the dogs were amazing. But, the directing was terriblem the acting wasn't much better and there were huge problems that a good director or a good editing staff could have easily fixed.
I'll never understand why you would spend millions of dollars to make a movie from scratch and then leave these obvious problems and things that wouldn't have really happened that way in your movie.
A tiny example: seriously, you send someone to the highway to stop a car so you can use their phone to call for help and you already have a phone in your pocket??? It would have been sooo easy to fix that problem with average directing or clever editing.
