Review of Max (2016) by Jason C — 18 Dec 2015
Definitely not as good as some other canine flicks, but worth a rental. Especially if you are a dog lover. This movie follows the story of a boy and his dog. The dog was formerly in the military and losses good owner, who is the boy's brother. They eventually get caught up an illegal weapons trade and attempt to bring down the crooks on their own.
Quite a bit of of violence in this one, but also some heart as well. The actor who played the boy could have been a little better, but this movie seems to be as much about the dog as him.
Traditional ending for this movie, but the journey was entertaining enough.
