Review of Max (2016) by Snengineer . — 09 Apr 2016
I saw this movie the other day and immediately felt guilty for not going and seeing it in theaters. It's a heart warming story of loss and love. Max is a former WMD dog that has severe PTSD after losing his handler, but he is stable when around his handler's little brother.
The teenager has to learn to grow up the hard way after he almost loses both Max and his father. Sometimes the right thing to do is worth all the risks. The only thing I really wish they had added to the movie was taking Max back to the military facility that was handling him prior to the family taking him and letting them see his progress.
I know that seems mushy, but I really thought that would have made a really great ending scene.
