Quite funny most of the time; a clever and always surprising wild west comedy with a charming Mel Gibson at his best and a Jodie Foster who probably never got as silly again as in this movie. I especially liked the part about the Indians who are not depicted as drum-banging primitives, but ripping off white simpletons.
By the way: Anyone ever noticed the similarity between Jodie Foster and Helen Hunt? At times I felt like I was watching Helen Hunt on the screen today... And while I am at it - anyone else sees Keira Knightley and Winona Ryder looking almost the same?
