Review of Maverick (1994) by Hilary D — 28 Jun 2008
Maverick was not the movie I expected when I first saw it. I was looking for a western semi-serious movie. It turns out to be a very funy comedy set in the west around a big card game. There are numerous twists that are hard to see coming and even upon second veiwing, the laughs still come.
This is an enjoyable movie for anyone looking for a comedic escape.
