Excellent movie ... the ending is not a "happily ever after " event for the two gay lovers ... it is 1910 and the irony behind the final dialogue where they say that "nothing shall keep us apart" must be seen in the light of the great war which is about to unfold on europe .
.. brillant script, acting, the whole nine yards ... this has become a cult movie of the genre.
