What what...a gay movie made in the 80's with a happy ending? James and Hugh fall in love at Cambridge and while James wishes to continue their love affair, Hugh's fear of being exposed moves him into a sexless and somewhat loveless marriage.
James, unwilling to compromise falls in love with a man of a different class and while that does cause a little conflict, James lets his heart rule instead of an intolerant society.
