Review of Matinee (1993) by Jason A — 11 Jun 2007
Yet another great neglected film from Joe Dante. It works on a number of levels, as a coming of age film, as a comedy, as a homage to a silver age of movie making. See this particularly if you enjoyed the television series Eerie Indiana, the tone is rather similar.
(Bonus points for featuring Dick Miller and Robert Picardo).
