The acting was good, but the dialogue and the plot were too predictable. A Woody Allen movie without any humor is just depressing. While I can admire the technical craft, the result was not enjoyable.
However, the soundtrack with all the old Caruso recordings made it almost worth it! I recalled why "Una Furtiva Lagrima" has been one of my favorite arias since I was very small.
