Review of Match Point (2005) by Hardcastle M — 15 Dec 2009
Woody relocates to London to study two dichotomies: Rational Love/Sentimentalism and Destiny/Free Will; and, while he is at it, tackles the subject of society as a ladder.
Although the cast knows its job, and Woody obliviously know film writing and directing; the movie remains too classic and conventional to my taste, and doesn't have this lightness you'd expect from an Allen movie. 3.
