This movie was released just after my fourth birthday and I can't even tell you how badly I wanted to see it in the theater--it would have been amazing. my parents decided that skeletor was too scary looking. SKELETOR IS THE WORST PART OF THIS, OR ANY MOVIE LIKE IT!!!! I doubt he has ever scared anybody...GAH!!!!!!!...the movie, has it's strengths (courtney cox, some solid costuming and makeup (OVERALL).
My favorite tidbit is that it's actually more loosely based on Jack Kirby's '4th World' of 'the new gods' than it is 'He-man'..yeeeeah, so WHERE THE FUCK ARE BEASTMAN, TRICLOPS, TRAPJAW, MERMAN or RAM-MAN???
Had this movie been good enough, imagine the sequal: the Horde, SNOUT SPOUT (!!) and what the fuck: EVEN SHIRA!!!
