Review of Masters of the Universe (1987) by Minty F — 07 Feb 2008

Shoot me dead for saying it, but I really like this movie, its like one of those retro hits from the 80's thats reminds us of a time when movies were more simple and more about escapism than trying to make a big bugget 3hr epic which can only be good if it fills up many a cinema seats, I rank this with other simple retro classics like, Gremlins, Teenwolf, Supergirl ect.

The only reason this film got critised is because its not totally true to the cartoon, He-man cartoons were more about fantasy where as Masters of the Universe is more sci-fi.
